Burns & Co Auctions Pty Ltd specialise in Auctions and Valuations throughout Australia. We are one of Rural NSW leading Auction Companies, conducting auctions for major finance companies, liquidators, commercial & industrial businesses and local government agencies (NSW Police & NSW Sheriff).
Burns and Co Auctions have been trading in Orange & Bathurst and throughout the Central West for a period of 7 years, with the Director Scott Burns having worked as an Auctioneer/Valuer for over twelve years.
Our operation is based in Orange with offices in Bathurst as well. Monthly Auctions conducted at our Orange Premises – BARRETTS EST and throughout the Central West and interstate. Onsite auctions are performed at the request of various vendors

Our company is available to travel throughout Australia for both Auctions & Valuations. Burns & Co use the latest technology, have the highest standards of reporting and are full members of the Auctioneers and Values Association of Australia. We hold an NAB Trust Account and are licensed Motor Dealers (MD 20562), Members of the MTA and hold Professional Indemnity and Public Liability Insurance.
Burns and Co understands the protocol of conducting Auctions and Valuations on behalf of government departments working for the NSW Police, Sheriff’s Department and University Faculties and notable insurance and liquidation companies, plus many more.

Our team consists of three full time staff
Scott Burns Director / Auctioneer - Who has over fifteen years experience in the Auction Industry working throughout Australia selling anything from plant & machinery to furniture, Scott has a very high knowledge of the industry and over the years has built up a very large selling and buying customer base. His commitment to his business and knowledge of a vast array of products within the industry combined with his auction skills and attention to detail is what makes Burns & Co the leading Auction House that it is.
Darani Lowe / Business Manager - Who has been with Burns & Co for over Six years. Darani has over twenty years experience in Sales / Marketing and Business environments and is committed to ensuring the implementation of professionalism and smooth running of the Auction process is adhered to, as well as keeping the men inline!
Bruce Kenny / Warehouse and Stock Control Manager – Who has been with Burns & Co Auctions for five years, Bruce has over thirty years experience in Managing stock and sales. He will ensure that stock is accounted for and taken care of when it is at our site. His witty disposition and total commitment helps make the whole Auction process as painless and as easy as possible, for all concerned.
Liz Griffin - Part Time Administration Assistant - Liz has been with Burns & Co Auctions for over a year. Liz is responsible for maintaining our licensing requirements by the Motor Dealers Association.
We also have seven permanent part time staff whom are capable and committed in assisting with setting up, lotting and on the auction day with selling.

About the Association
Incorporated in 1952, the association has been instrumental in establishing and maintaining the high level of professionalism found in the industry in Australia. Corporation membership is represented by the leading Auction and Valuation companies throughout Australia.
Employed members are drawn from leading Auction and Valuation houses.
Sole Trader members represent a significant portion of the Association's membership.
All categories must be practising Auctioneers and/or Valuers, with Auctioneers required to meet a statutory level of experience.
We place great importance in ensuring that our members provide the highest levels of professionalism in their dealings with clients and the public. In order to achieve this we are actively involved in the continuing education of our members.
Any member who breaches the Association's code of ethics is liable to disciplinary action by the Association.
